CONTACT: Christmas 1979

 

After winning promotion to Division 1 of the South Birmingham Sunday Football League (pm), we are finding it difficult to recapture the form of last season.

 

Unfortunately the team has lost several key players and this may account for the disappointing start to the season.

Thankfully, as we head towards Christmas, a few new players have joined the side and the results in the last few matches have been more encouraging.

 

In the National TSB competition we are experiencing better fortune. We are now through to the Quarter-Finals, having defeated Leicester & Nottingham TSB by 4 goals to 2 in the last round.

 

Our opponents in the Quarter-Finals are North West TSB, the match to be played sometime in December at Manchester.
